Who We Are

Hi y’all! My name is Amber and I am a dual Certified Nurse Midwife and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My career started out in Food Science where I quickly realized that I was not going to fit in. After some reflection I decided to become a Certified Nurse Midwife. I graduated from Vanderbilt University and East Tennessee State University and completed an internship in Reproductive Psychiatry as well as Integrated Behavioral Health. I am a trauma informed, anti-racist, culturally competent, Health at Every Size Provider, as well as a LGBTQ2+ and neurodiverse affirming provider. This practice came to be after over a decade of clinical practice when I realized that capitalism and healthcare should not coexist. I want to ensure that you feel seen, heard, and validated in your experience. You are the captain of this journey and I am here to support you. I recently spent the last decade in Asheville, NC. I currently reside in Colorado with my spouse, kiddo, and dogs. I am so happy you’re here!
